This was a year of growth and recognition. We were honored to receive the MyFm Spirit Award for Best Slogan: “We Fix What Your Husband Repairs and So Much More…” As our business expanded, we moved to a larger location with room to grow. This new location even allowed us to open a small showroom—an exciting and unexpected development.

Nicole Forbes
Nicole Forbes is the dedicated owner and operator of Elgin County Plumbing along side her husband, serving St. Thomas and surrounding areas. As a mother of two and a grandmother, family holds a special place in her heart.
Nicole efficiently manages operations and ensures prompt customer service as the Operating Manager. She also oversees the plumbing showroom and is not afraid to jump in on a service call when an extra hand is needed.
Nicole cherishes her involvement in community initiatives and endeavors to keep Elgin County Plumbing as a family-run company, fostering a sense of closeness and reliability within the community.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys baseball games, spending quality time with her family, and riding motorcycles. Her dedication to maintaining a family-oriented company and her commitment to being an integral part of the St. Thomas community reflect her deep sense of pride in her hometown. Chris Forbes
If plumbing were a superpower, Chris Forbes would be wearing the cape. With over 20 years in the trade, he’s conquered everything from leaky faucets to major plumbing overhauls—always with a commitment to top-quality workmanship. As the owner and operator of Elgin County Plumbing, Chris takes immense pride in running a family-owned business that serves the community he loves.
Born and raised in St. Thomas, Chris is as local as it gets. He works side-by-side with his wife to keep the company running smoothly, and both of his children are actively involved—ensuring the future of Elgin County Plumbing stays in family hands. His dedication to the community goes beyond just pipes and wrenches; he believes in keeping business local and giving back whenever possible.
On the personal side, Chris knows that family time is the most important time. We only live once, so he believes in cherishing every moment we get. When he’s not ensuring homes and businesses have safe, reliable plumbing, you’ll find him enjoying the things that keep him balanced—baseball, fishing, and his new passion: riding his motorcycle. Whether he’s on two wheels or under a sink, one thing is for sure—Chris is always ready for the next adventure.
